How Wolves Became Dogs
By: Noah Tapia
Experts say that the dogs we see today is believed that domestication was an effort to make for humans. 45,000 years ago, when our ancestors had to hunt for their lives, the dogs ancestor, camp wolves, discovered that humans left scraps, so the wolves started eating the scraps. as they started to eat our scraps, the humans and the wolves became more comfotable with each other. One night, one wolf saved the humans camp, but the wolfs puppies didn't have any parents, The humans took the puppies and nursed them. The camp wolf evolved to a protodog, and the humans would have the protodogs hunt other animals and bring them back so the hunters could eat them. as time went by, us humans wanted to domesticate the protodogs so they could be faster and stronger. Today, us humans domesticated the wolves into dogs.
